Kushal is a Bombay-based filmmaker. His work is diverse and wide-ranging, but always with a strong focus on visual storytelling, striking visuals, and the apt use of all aspects of filmmaking to put his pieces together to have the independent impact every project needs to have, whether it is a film or a commercial.

In 2018, Kushal's first short film Dabba Gul (The Lunch), was the winnner of the World's Largest FIlm-making Challenge with over 1800 films made from Concept to Screen in just 50 hours. After receiving critical acclaim, he  continued to tell stories and won the challenge once again in 2020 with his short film OFFLINE. 
 

In 2019 Kushal founded the production house Vermmasilly Films which produced the multi-award winning short film OFFLINE. The film was appreciated by the Cannes recognised Filmmaker Gaspar Noé.

In 2020 Kushal finished his first project as a Screenwriter for a feature film and currently working on the next project.

His experience covers award winning short films, feature films, TVCs, digital brand films, music videos & new media content. He has directed films and campaigns for boAt, Zypp Electric, Jio, Swarovski, Urban Company, Nestle, Sunsilk, Pepperfry, ZYPP, Absolut, Diageo, Pernod Ricard and many more.
